Liverpool on Wednesday scored two late goals to beat Inter Milan in the UEFA Champions League in the round of 16 first leg at the San Siro stadium.
Liverpool played a fantastic game against Inter Milan, scoring the first goal through Roberto Firmino and Mohammed Salah with the only two shots on target
In the first 15 minutes of the second half, Liverpool put up a scintillating display with Perisic and Vidal domineering.
The Reds mounted pressure on the Inter with efforts from an inspired triple substitution- Keita, Henderson and Diaz all injecting some desperately needed energy.
This turned out to be a plus and made the difference Liverpool, proving that they were the better side after with the win at the end of the day.
Unfortunately, despite being in charge of this tie, the Reds are faced with the only down side that Uefa have abolished the old away-goals rule.
For Inter, they have a lot of work to do at Anfield in three weeks’ time if they are to stop Liverpool from securing a place in the quarter-finals.
