Big Brother Naija Season 11 has recorded its first eviction, with Martins Iyeh becoming the first housemate to leave the reality show.
Martins’ journey came to an end during Sunday’s live eviction show, just two weeks after he joined the competition alongside 23 other housemates.
The creative director, visual storyteller and model was among the contestants placed at risk of eviction following the week’s nomination process.
His exit came on his birthday, adding an emotional twist to an already dramatic night. Fellow housemates had earlier celebrated with him before his unexpected departure from the show.
Martins entered the BBNaija house with hopes of making a strong impression on viewers and competing for the season’s grand prize. He described himself as a creative director with a passion for visual storytelling and basketball, while also identifying mind-reading as one of his unusual talents.
His eviction marks the first major departure of the “Show Ya Sef” season, which premiered with 24 housemates competing for a ₦160 million prize package.
The season has already introduced several twists, including the secret Gambit roles assigned to selected housemates, adding another layer of strategy to the competition.
With Martins out of the race, the remaining housemates must now step up their game as alliances are tested, rivalries intensify and viewers begin to determine who has what it takes to survive the weeks ahead.
