Manchester City have secured a win over Club Brugge at Etihad Stadium in the ongoing UEFA Champions League.
Goals from Phil Foden, Riyad Mahrez Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus gave City the edge as Sterling’s strike brought an end to his 12-game goal drought.
The England international who claimed his first Champions League goal in more than a year, did a good job to converted Ilkay Gundogan’s cutback to score for only the second time this season.
Others, Phil Foden and Riyad Mahrez finished off Joao Cancelo crosses from close range either side of the interval and Gabriel Jesus rolling a shot into the far corner with the final kick of the game.
The win for Pep Guardiola’s men was able to bring confidence back to the team after successive defeats by West Ham and Crystal Palace.
