Leicester City on Tuesday took a major step towards a place in next season’s Champions League after defeating Manchester United 2-1 in the Premier League.
The victory for the Foxes is their first Old Trafford victory over Manchester United since 1998.
With only three games remaining, the defeat for United means they are 10 points behind City who are the current EPL champions.
Efforts from talented Leicester City player, Caglar Soyuncu made a difference as his far-post header impressed Brendan Rodgers. On the other hand, it was also a plus for Manchester City coach, Pep Guardiola, who is dominating the Premier League at the moment.

Mason Greenwood also made a lot of impressive efforts for United and one of them paid when he got the equalizer for United. This happened after Luke Thomas had put the visitors in front with a fantastic far-post volley into the top corner.
After this defeat, United’s 14-match unbeaten run in the league ends, since the home defeat by Sheffield United on 27 January.
On the race for top four, Rodgers’ side now only require four points from their final two games to secure a place.
