Manchester United player, Jesse Lingard has returned to Old Trafford after his transfer move from the club failed.
Before this development, there were speculations that United interim boss, Ralf Rangnick and Lingard had misunderstanding last week.
But it was confirmed by the coach on Monday there were no issues between himself and the midfielder.
While the player claimed it was the club that advised him to sit out the match, Rangnick said Lingard had asked for time off after failing to secure a loan move ahead of United’s FA Cup fourth-round tie against Middlesbrough.
As the Red Devils prepare to meet Burnley, the United boss during a preview cleared the air on the issue, while speaking to reporters.
“With regard to Jesse, I have a very good relationship with him,” said the German. “We have to look forward now. There were no problems whatsoever between myself and Jesse and vice versa.
“I’m happy to have him in the squad and he will be a member of the squad for tomorrow’s game.”
After two straight wins, United are currently fourth on the Premier League table.
