Talented tennis player, Novak Djokovic has beaten Daniil Medvedev in the Australian Open.
Djokovic’s victory against Medvedev has made him clinch a record-extending ninth men’s title which is also a continious dominance of the Australian Open.
The 33-year-old Serb who is also a top seed, won 7-5 6-2 6-2 to claim his 18th Grand Slam, leaving him two behind Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal in the men’s record books.
Beating Medvedev is a third triumph in a row; moreover, he has a record of never losing a final at Melbourne Park, while Russian fourth seed Medvedev, 25, has lost both of his Grand Slam finals.
In reaction to his win, Djokovic expressed his joy to the Rod Laver Arena, immediately he was given the trophy.
He said, “I love you each year more and more. The love affair keeps going.”
