Renowned Juju musician, King Sunny Ade has lost his wife, Risikat Ajoke Adegeye, who is a former member of the Lagos State House of Assembly.
This development was disclosed by a media aide to Adegeye’s son, Daniel Fayemi, and sources in the Lagos State House of Assembly The Punch reports
After her death, some comments were made. In the words of Fayemi, “The philanthropic politician passed on in the early hours of Tuesday. Her remains have since been deposited at the TOS funeral homes, Lagos.
“She is survived by her grieving husband and son, Mr. George Folarin. Funeral arrangements would be communicated accordingly.”
In a statement on Tuesday, her son, Folarin revealed that ex-lawmaker died after a brief illness, confirmed the death on behalf of the family.
Adegeye waswho represented Amuwo-Odofin at the Lagos State House of Assembly between 2011 and 2015, is a former chairmanship aspirant under the platform of All Progressives Congress in Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area.
