Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Gifty Powers said, the popular reality TV show, BB Naija is “satanic”.
Gifty, has not only condemned the TV show that has attracted the attention of many Nigerians, but also stated that it should be suspended.
One major claim of powers who appeared in the second season of the Big Brother Naija in 2017, is that the show is keeping youths in unhealthy competition with one another.
In the words of Gifty, who wrote in a post on her Instagram story:
“Big Brother Naija needs to be shut down entirely. I wish I knew what I know now. Big Brother Naija has kept lives in competition. Big Brother Naija is satanic,”
“Well, you can choose to believe me or not. What I have seen is something my mouth no fit carry. Everyone and their cross. I’ve said my own. The ball is in your court. Bye!
“Please, just in case you start to abuse your generation, know you’re starting with your mother indirectly. Number 1 thing the devil does is to manipulate the weak.”
Meanwhile, Powers’ submission came a few days after the Arewa Youths Advisory Forum tagged the show a calamity and called on the Federal Government to ban it.
