Ronaldo Reportedly ‘Agrees’ £173m Deal With Al Nassr

Renowned football super star, Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly agreed a £172.9million per year contract with Saudi Arabian club, Al Nassr.

The former Manchester United player is said to have agreed to a two-and-a-half year deal with Al Nassr, worth a record-breaking £172.9million per year, that will see him play until the age of 40, Daily Mail UK reports.

Before this development occurred, the football star recently triggered a lot of talking points after his interesting interview with Piers Morgan hit the internet.

According to sources close to the Ronaldo, they said no deal has been signed and he remains focused on the World Cup with his country, but reports in Spain today by Spanish newspaper outlet, Marca claim the figures have been agreed.

Meanwhile, the five-time Ballon d’Or has revealed some of the few things that happened while he was at Old Trafford.

During an interview, the Portuguese star said that he had no respect for Ten Hag because the manager had no respect for him. He also stated that the club had not grown since Sir Alex Ferguson left in 2013.

The 37-year-old had his contract with Manchester United terminated on mutual agreement on November 22 after the club thanked the Portuguese star for his contribution during the two spells which saw him score 145 goals in 346 appearances.

As a result of an incident that occurred in April, when Ronaldo smashed a fan’s phone at Goodison Park after Man United lost to Everton last season, the issue deepened and he was told to pay a fine of £50,000 and given a two-match ban by the football association in England.

Al-Nassr are one of the most successful clubs in Saudi Arabia. They were crowned winners of the country’s top flight nine times, with their most recent triumph coming in 2019.
