Napoli and Nigerian football star, Victor Osimhen has gotten accolades from former AC Milan and Juventus striker, Filippo Inzaghi who tagged him as the best in Serie A.
Inzaghi’s comments comes after the talented striker’s exploits in the club since he arrived the Italian League in 2020.
Osimhen who won the Golden Boot award at the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup, which Nigeria won,
also made history joining Napoli from Lille for an African record transfer fee of €81m plus add-ons.
He made his senior international debut in June 2017 and played at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations
As a result of the injury he had, the prolific striker missed a number of games in his first season and a series of health issues which emanated from coronavirus.
The resilient player came back strong in his second season, with superb performances in scoring 18 goals in 32 appearances.
