NFF Summons Super Eagles’ Technical Crew After 4-4 Draw With Sierra Leone

Pinnick Summons Eagles, Rohr

Coach of the Super Eagles Gernot Rohr and his technical crew has been summoned on Saturday by the President of the Nigerian Football Federation Amaju Pinnick, after Eagles match against Sierra Leone in Edo State.

Pinnick called for the meeting after the Super Eagles questionable performance against Sierra Leone at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City, Edo State on Friday, The Punch reports.

The development was disclosed by the media department of the NFF on Friday.

During the match, the Leone Stars fought back to tie the game 4-4 on Friday, after the Eagles wasted a four-goal advantage to delay their qualification for the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations.

Before the Leone Stars levelled up the score, they had a 4-1 lead. But the visitors make a comeback scoring three unreplied goals in a 14-minute spell.

In reaction to the painful loss, Pinnick made comments while addressing the Eagles after the game and charged the players to put the disappointment behind them and be ready to give their all and redeem their image in Freetown on Tuesday.
