Serbian Tennis player, Novak Djokovic has secured a win at the Dubai Tennis Championship on Monday.
The win for the world number one is his first since he was involved in a vaccination and visa saga in the build-up to the Australian Open.
The issue which started as a result of his Covid-19 vaccination status, prompted his deportation from Australia on 16 January and attracted the attention of people around the world.
Considering the comments of the Tennis star after his triumph, there is no doubt that it brought relief for him as he went ahead to make comments, stressing that he had the “best possible experience” on his return.
Djokovic who called his win against Lorenzo Musetti “A pleasant experience,” was able to see the Italian with 6-3 6-3.
His closing words ended with an appreciation, specifically to the crowd following his first match of 2022. He added: “I couldn’t pick a better place to kick start the season – it was the best possible experience tonight.
“All in all, it’s a straight-set win so of course I have to be satisfied, especially after not playing for two and a half, almost three months.”
