British professional boxer, Dillian Whyte has signed a contract for a clash with WBC heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury.
The development which occurred hours before the deadline, is expected to take place on 23 April, potentially at Wembley Stadium.
Procedures in the contract prompted White to spend the weekend and Monday negotiating details of the deal which he had up to 06:00 GMT Tuesday to sign.
In reaction to the contract, Fury made comments on social media. In his words, “Dillian Whyte signed his contract for $8m, what a surprise,”
Fury added: “An absolute idiot. Should this even be a talking point? The man’s signed for the biggest payday he’s going to get in his life.”
