Portugal forward, Joao Felix has joined Chelsea on loan from Atletico Madrid.
Joao becomes Chelsea’s fourth January signing, after Benoit Badiashile, David Datro Fofana and Andrey Santos.
Felix travelled to London on Tuesday to undergo a medical ahead of joining Chelsea for the rest of the season.
The Blues beat off Man Utd and Arsenal to the signing of the player.
On the major reason he made the move, sources have disclosed that Atletico allowed Felix to leave due to his difficult relationship with Diego Simeone.
In reaction to the signing, Felix told the club’s official website: “Chelsea is one of the great teams in the world and I hope to help the team reach their objectives, so I am very, very happy to be here and very excited to play at Stamford Bridge.”
