Spanish La Liga football club, Cadiz has held Football giant, Barcelona to a goalless draw on Thursday.
Apart from the disappointing score line at the end of the match, Barca’s coach Ronald Koeman was dismissed for dissent, while Frenkie de Jong was issued a red card.
The performance of Koeman so far since he landed at Camp Nou has been questioned, coupled with the fact that, at the moment, Barcelona now have just two wins from five La Liga matches.
The effects of the red card given to De Jong reflected in the match as the visitors played the last 25 minutes with 10 men. Koeman became annoyed after two harsh yellow cards were given to De Jong in four minutes after the break.
Barcelona was punished by the ‘underdog’ Cadiz, by creating numerous late chances to grab a win in the game after getting it right from their defence line, but the interesting match ended in a draw.
