The #OccupyLekkiTollgate Protests are ready to be held hold simultaneously in Lagos, Oyo, and Adamawa states.
A campaigner, Mr Kunle Ajayi, disclosed this during the PUNCH Live Debate on Wednesday.
According to him, #OccupyLekkiTollgate is a metaphor that symbolises a fight for justice for victims of the alleged killings by soldiers at the Lekki tollgate on October 20, 2020, and bad governance.
Speaking further, he said, “This is not just about Lekki, there will be protests in other states like Oyo and Adamawa. We have to end bad governance and injustice in the country. People who lost their lives should not die in vain. Those who are sponsored to disrupt our fight for justice will not succeed.”
