The Governor of Delta State, Ifeanyi Okowa and his wife have tested positive for COVID-19.
This development was disclosed on the Twitter handle of the governor on Wednesday.
The words written on his Twitter handle were:
“My wife and I have tested positive for COVID-19. We are well and continuing with our isolation/medication. We thank you all for your continued prayers for us and our daughter.”
At the moment, the governor and affected persons of his family have all gone into isolation.
On the source of the virus, a reliable source revealed earlier that, Okowa’s daughter tested positive for the virus which made the entire family go into 14-day self-isolation.
