Renowned music artist, Kanye West has made public his intention to contest for president in the US.
Currently the internet has gone agog as a result of this new development by the popular rapper.
In order to achieve his aim, West has used the internet as one of the major platform to contest against Donald Trump and his Democrat rival Joe Biden.
The 21-time Grammy winner’s announcement to contest election was disclosed in a message to his 29 million Twitter followers overnight.
In his comments, West declared:
”We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States”
The post, shared more than 340,000 times, was accompanied by a stars and stripes flag and “#2020VISION”
