Fast rising Saxophonist, Adekunle Taiwo Daramola Samuel, well known as T Major Psalmist has shared his experience so far, in the Nigerian gospel music industry.
T Major Psalmist who joined the Redeemed Christian Church of God Emmanuel Area, as a keyboardist in 2016, where he served as an instrumentalist under pastor Abel Adewusi and proceeded to be a worker, revealed that his music journey has been awesome so far.
While narrating some notable events in his music journey, he said, ”I joined the mass choir by privilege through the access of working with a chorale group RDC, Royal Diadem Choir led by Deacon Seun Tanimola Ovie who’s also the mass choir Bassist.
Speaking further on his journey in music, T Major Psalmist stated that he started playing music as early as 13 years ago where he was a drummer and later moved to be a keyboardist in the Antioch Baptist church.
‘’After several struggles in course of my love for music and passion, and to level myself up by exploring
my Dad, Mr. Adekunle Ezekiel agreed that I joined the redeemed RCCG 8 years ago.
I fell in love with saxophone and vow to play the instrument in a Baptist Student Fellowship student BSF (refreshing theme fresh fire) camping program, as at when I am still in the Baptist Church, due to how hard it was to get my saxophone and a tutor that will train me beyond music (in the way of the lord), ‘’ he said.
The talented saxophonist has also made impact in the music, teaching young ones who have interest in music.
‘’I decided to start impacting young folks!! I had a mini music saxophone school back in 2020 lock down which are currently Psalmist orchestras!
I have personally trained quite a number of children even adults that are doing well for Christ now in Nigeria and one in the USA! I have passion in grooming young folks not just they learning music but the God factors! ‘’ he said.
According to the gospel artiste, he has an awesome team/crew and they are working on a new song to the glory of God that will transform lives and destiny. He also affirmed that they have recorded three tracks already and shot videos.
T Major Psalmist is also the CEO of Dara Dara Suits and Accessories, an avenue to make cooperate men look elegant and not grumble about expenses.
After ministering in many church programmes and working with various mass choir for over four years, he currently he serves as Music Director in RCCG Daystar Parish/Zone under Pastor Felix Oluwafemi Oluwole.
Interestingly, his job as a music director in Daystar is his third appointment after serving in the same position at RCCG GOL (Garden of Life) under Pastor Oluseye Adeniyi.
He also ministers with the national PSF (Pastors Seed Ministry) Minstrels of RCCG nation wide.
No doubt, his music career so far has been awesome, since he gave himself to God as a vessel unto honour.
