Fast ad Furious 9 has surpassed $500 million in global tickets sales solidifying its place in as Hollywood’s biggest theoretical hit of the pandemic era.
Having previously opened in a few countries in May, the Universal movie was released in most cinemas at the end of last month.
This has been the biggest opening of any film at the US box office during the Coronavirus pandemic.
The movie has another feat of being the first US-produced film to surpass $500 million in global ticket sales, since 2019.
