American rapper, Kanye West has been told to pay American media personality, Kim Kardashian $200k monthly for child-support.
This development comes after the divorce proceedings between former couple, which at the moment is gradually nearing a final close.
Nearly two years after their split, both celebrities on Thursday both reached a settlement.
According to documents obtained by E! News, their terms of settlement included joint legal and physical custody of their shared children, North West, 9, Saint, 7, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3.
On the financial responsibilities for both of them, the rapper’s share in monthly child support amounts to $200,000 which will be paid to Kim, while both parents will contribute 50% each in covering their children’s medical, security and educational expenses.
However, the couple’s properties will be shared according to their prenuptial agreement.
On the signing of the document, it was revealed that it has not been signed by a judge as the agreement shows considerable progress in the proceedings which was filed by Kim in February 2021.
Meanwhile, Kardashian had earlier asked that the court declare her single, and her request was granted in March 2022, after the proceedings had dragged on for months due to Kanye’s objections to the divorce.
