Chelsea on Wednesday beat Real Madrid 2-0 in the semi-final second leg, at Stamford Bridge with 3-1 on aggregate to secure a place in the Champions League final.
Despite the hosts missing four big chances to double their lead in the opening 20 minutes of the second period, Timo Werner was able to put Chelsea ahead (28) with a nod after Kai Havertz’s chip had hit the woodwork.
With five minutes remaining, the Blues worked hard to get their second goal as Mason Mount stuck home substitute Christian Pulisic’s centre at close range.
The win for the Blues has resulted into an all-English Champions League final with Manchester City.
