Museum Officials Apologise After Barring Visitor In Low-cut Dress

Visitor In Museum

French literature student Jeanne has been barred from entering the Musée d’Orsay Museum because she wore a low-cut dress.

Apparently, Jeanne wore the dress on a hot day this week, was reminded of the rules of the museum when she was entering.

The Musée d’Orsay is one of the biggest tourist draws in Paris and home to some of 19th Century French art’s most famous nudes, BBC reports.

According to her, she was eventually allowed in when she put on her jacket.

Meanwhile,  the museum has apologised because her story went viral on social media.

Interestingly, she posted a picture of herself sitting in a restaurant four hours before going to the museum with a friend, describing how first one official then another stared at her breasts but did not say which rule she was contravening.
