Neymar Sustains Injury, To Miss Brazil’s Next W’Cup Match

Brazilian football superstar, Neymar has suffered an ankle ligament damage, which will automatically make him miss Brazil’s next World Cup game against Switzerland on Monday.

According to reports, the talented player got injured during country’s opening win against Serbia, the team doctor said on Friday.

The injury has made his ankle of the Paris Saint-Germain forward was seen with a swollen.

Doctor Rodrigo Lasmar after confirming that 30-year-old had suffered “ligament damage”, revealed in a video that Neymar, who was actually substituted during the 2-0 win against Serbia had suffered “lateral ligament damage”.

Lasmar also confirmed that Brazil right-back Danilo will also miss Monday’s match against Switzerland with an ankle strain.

In a video released by the Brazilian Football Confederation, CBF, the doctor said, “We will not have these two players for our next match but they continue their treatment with the aim of recovering in time for the rest of the competition.”
