England 1-1 Germany: Kane Scores 50th International Goal

England on Tuesday earned a point after playing 1-1 draw against Germany in the UEFA Nations League.

The Three Lions captain, Harry Kane made history to become the second man to score 50 goals for England after converting a late penalty.

Before the penalty was converted, the VAR review ruled Kane had been brought down by Nico Schlotterbeck. It was a superb penalty as Germany keeper, Manuel Neuer was sent the wrong way from the spot with two minutes left.

The draw for England obviously brought a little relief after the defeat in Hungary on Saturday as a second successive loss would have killed the enthusiasm in the team, before two home games against Italy and Hungary.

Moving ahead of Sir Bobby Charlton to sit only three behind Wayne Rooney Kane is now into second place in the all-time record standings.

England at the moment are on the fourth position in Group C with Italy, Hungry and Germany having the first second and third position respectively.
