Barcelona have started plans to bring football legend Xavi Hernandez to Nou Camp as the club’s new manager.
Considering the issues Barca is facing at the moment, Barca president, Joan Laporta has made up his mind to take a bold step to bring onboard the former Barca football star.
On his experience in coaching, Xavi manages Al Sadd in Qatar, at the moment and kept a clean record at the club. At least, this feat is one of the numerous reasons he has earned the opportunity of receiving a call on Wednesday night from Laporta made to make him know that he deserves the position.
In all, the club’s politics in the past has brought about some decisions made recently: decision in terms of appointments of executives and club president, which is also a determent factor on the coach to be hired.
While there is a change or appointment of manger, there will obviously be a change in managerial staff, depending on the decisions of the new manager.
Meanwhile, Laporta’s decision would be a surprise to most football fans, and Barca supporters, because some months ago, he told journalists that Xavi was not ready to take the job as Barcelona head coach.
