A remarkable closing ceremony has been held to officially end the Tokyo Paralympics on Saturday, at the Olympic Stadium.
The ceremony which took place at the Japanese capital, had beautiful highlights that like singing, dancing, and a parade of nations
Another symbolic activity at the ceremony was that the Paralympic flag was formally passed on to Paris and accepted by the city’s mayor, Anne Hidalgo, in anticipation of hosting the 2024 Games.
On the medal table, China came tops with 96 golds and 207 medals in total, while Great Britain was second with 41 golds and USA third with 37
The event at the end of the day marks the end of nearly two weeks of Paralympic sport.
