Nigerian Senator, businessman and entrepreneur, Senator representing Anambra South senatorial zone, Ifeanyi Ubah, has escaped assassination on Sunday at Enugwu-Ukwu, a community in Anambra State.
According to reports, an unspecified number of police officers were killed at the Enugwu-Ukwu community in Njikoka Local Government Area of the State, during the incident, as yet-to-be-identified attackers opened fire on the convoy of Sen. Ubah.
Sources also revealed that the gunmen opened fire on the convoy, and police operatives in the convoy responded; thereafter, about six policemen were gunned down in the shoot-out.
The Nigerian senator, Ifeanyi Ubah, survived the incident, but they were casualties. Some policemen in his convoy were killed.
